Since beginning of my Dubai trip I got to listen to about Leave Safari. Many people about suggested to select that on weekend. My first a couple of weeks (& demonstrably weekends) gone in negotiating down,
digging down project facts (naturally that was first priority!!) and getting used to schedule. And therefore first two vacations I spent in Hotel room settling down and solidifying the challenge range, boundaries & paperwork stuff.
First week of December '07, everything about project was clear and I was all set to go out d N'joy. I determined to grab the initial opportunity; that weekend was 3 days long. I rested on first day.
Next time day I ringed up journey agent company and booked the chrome seat. I was waiting excitedly until day because safari was planned to begin at 4 pm. Driver ringed up about 2.45 in midday, much prior to when planned time of 3.30 pm. Driver,
Amin Mohammed; a normal Arabian guy, 6 feet in height, wearing traditional Arabic outfit was waiting downstairs together with his large plushy Landcruiser for me. Considering the Car itself I thought my journey would definitely be one of the greatest traveling activities I ever had. :)
We began our trip following concluding up "release ceremony" with each other. Meanwhile 4 more folks joined people for tour. Being first to be found I had grabbed leading seat in landcruiser which later became the best invest Safari.
With front chair you get the distinct big view of leave facing you and the very best possiblity to take video and good images of other vehicles in "cafila" as well. Also you get a way to connect to driver quickly to understand more wherever required.
I began bothering Mohammed with questions: "Wherever are we going? What is the name of the place?" Mohammed can talk ok British if not good. AL Awir was the name of the spot we were visiting. 30 Kms away from Dubai, this really is the place where true leave begins and extends it's limits around much parts of UAE and variations OMAN.
We achieved the place following around 30 minutes journey on highway. It was a small break of 10 minutes at bottom camp with this visit coordinator wherever around 10 landcruisers got together to begin the particular DESERT RIDE. The tyre force of vehicles was reduced to deal up with softness of the sand.
The landcruiser began cruising in leave against immense opposition being produced by softness of sand. Soon the gigantic machine picked up high speed with its energy and we were operating on desert sands up and down,
on little deborah big waves, fishing heavy from the surface of the waves and hiking up small sand hills. It absolutely was completely nice knowledge alongside little bit of excitement. The only thing I overlooked was; I couldn't travel the device myself!
Soon we reached the desert resort Desert safari Dubai meal and belly dance display was arranged. Delightful drink was Standard "Kahwa" and tea. Kahwa is kind of black coffee. Me being coffee nut, enjoyed 4 - 5 cups of Kahwa w/o sugar in 2 hours duration. Persons started soothing somewhat and gone for mehandi and "SASHA" ;.Sasha is conventional Arabian flavoured smoking tube much like Indian HUKKA.
After an hours time, Arabian fashion grilled chicken and beef kebab were offered along with some Indian veg food. I was amazed to start to see the dominating use of Indian food around european and Arabian food. Even Rajma Rice and Dal was accessible!!
Half an hour's passed by, people were relaxing following dinner and Belly Dancer's arrival was reported and very quickly, even before persons might start to know what's occurring; the stomach dancer came on point carrying scarlet Arabian belly suit and she practically needed the period by storm.
